New company develops innovative bathing solution for healthcare

Fokdal Springvand a/s and Elmoprint establish the company Bad+
to develop automatic showers for elderly and disabled.

Fokdal Springvand a/s and Elmoprint ApS Machine, both Holbaek, has established the joint company Bad+ to develop, build and sell automatic showers and bathing. The target audience is elderly and disabled people who find it difficult to bathe themselves without assistance today, but with the help of an automatic shower can be self-reliant, and less dependent on others. It will mean that many elderly and disabled can be bathed at home, even without help, or with a little help. The goal is to create greater dignity for every citizen in bathing situation. So that the personal bath remains a safe and private matter.

Bad+ is an initiative of Holbaek Business Forum and four Danish councils that are very interested in having created an automatic bathing solution.

Tim Storm from Elmoprint and Jørgen Fokdal from Fokdal Springvand a/s are in the process of developing the automatic shower, and expect to have the first prototype ready by the turn of the year 2014/15.
